God made us as equals. The reason why we are created is for us to take care of the living things God also created. "Be a good steward towards God's creations". We are created for others. Why do you think health care to the individual, to the family and to the community is important?
By taking care of ourselves, we are able to further take care of other people. As I said, no one lives for himself alone. Taking care of other people is VERY important. This is important because by doing so, we could prolong their life, prevent further pain, and hasten recovery.
Health care for the public and for ourselves is important because by doing so, they can live longer and feel better. This is also a simple way of doing God's will which is to take care of His creations.

A few recycled handicrafts
As a project, we were asked to make some handy handicrafts which could be used for accessories or even simple household and income-managing stuff. We made some bottle cap necklaces, and a birdhouse bank (alkansya). Even though the products were great, it somehow didn't exceed my expectations. We made the project last Saturday so we kind of crammed but we were prepared. I was assigned to pick some bottle caps as the base of the necklace, then we put designs in it which includes some stars and other patterns. The other subgroup was in-charge of doing the birdhouse (piggy) bank. It turned out better than I expected even though it didn't exceed my expectations. As what they say, expect the unexpected. The day turned out to be good overall. I would sell the necklaces at 10 pesos each and the birdhouse bank at 20php.

Pop-up cards!
We were asked to do pop-up cards by using a Christmas theme or a Thank You theme. Since I recognized how my parents raised me to be where I am, I decided to do the Thanksgiving theme. It was a simple pop-up card where letters came from old K-Zone magazines. I wouldn't say it was perfect, I wouldn't say I made it just for the sake of having one (I'm not good with arts). We were tasked to let our recipients sign on the card we made and that got my heart to jump. It was quite embarrassing to give my parents a not-too-effortless Thank you card. I gave it to them and quickly got out of the bedroom. Even though they didn't write a reply in the card, they approached me and just said that they'll always look out for me. I got their signature that night.
