3rd Quarter Day offs
The third quarter this year is the shortest due to the activities that the school is participating in. Teachers instruct the students to simply study in which the students politely disobey. This also means vacation time for pupils. 3 of those activities are the Jesuit Athletic Meet (JAM), the annual High School Night and the Ateneo Fiesta. My only opinion about JAM is that only the girls had fun taking pictures with athletes from the different Atenean schools. I didn't attend the High School Night due to my being lazy and all. The Ateneo Fiesta might be the more enjoying event that is happening this month. It means rest time for me fortunately. I also use it to hang out with mates, enjoy rides and cram. To sum these stuff up, my experiences with these "day offs" is just I'm inactive these past weeks. I mostly use my time playing games, watching TV, and taking long naps.
Arts and Crafts Plates Blues
At the start of the 3rd Quarter, our teacher asked us to buy a drawing book, and design and cover it up. It wasn't that hard. Then, our teacher taught us some fold-and-cut styles of making some basic shapes. The basic ones are making the rectangle and the square. The fun stops when she taught us how to make a circle. Most of the attempts end up differently looking like a paper with a half moon on each side. The next thing she taught us is to cut some various pointed stars. Again, it didn't end up well. They always result to being cut in half which tested my patience to learning it. The next thing she taught us is to cut these expanding shapes which are quite good for decorations. That was the part I enjoyed most. After school, I got home and made some of those expanding shapes. The teacher instructed us to paste whatever progress we made into the drawing book, which I failed to follow. I accidentally submitted my drawing book to her so many of my cut-out products are inside my envelope. Overall, I learned so much and it really tested my skills in following steps and my patience.

My two inspirations
My drawing is a symbol of a Wi-Fi signal, and a symbol of my parents. These two are my inspirations because they are responsible for making me happy and giving me a reason to do good in the things I do.
The Wi-Fi symbol represents the internet connection in our home. Because of this, I can play games, browse social networking sites, research my assignments, read books and play games. My parents are my primary inspiration because they are the reason why I have a good life, why I study in the Ateneo, and why I still have an internet connection in our house.

Experiences with Javascripting and Web scripting
On our first and second
quarters of the school year 2012-2013, we learned Web scripting and
Javascripting in our Technology and Livelihood Education subject.
Everyone had a hard time in doing so because memorizing codes is difficult. Web scripting is used to design and make an HTML page. Javascripting is used in adding functions, mathematical operations, and other things to the HTML. Mainly, our projects in our TLE subject is articulated with our Math. We are assigned to use Web scripting and Javascripting to encode a webpage which consists of our past lessons in Math. Our first and second quarter exams are full of codes. Man, you never get tired of codes. The teacher said we might even get to use these codes in the near future. Overall, learning scripting languages can be hard but with hard work and the determination and interest to learn helps you get the job done.
